CUPE Local 50 is proud to offer scholarships to members of our local and their family members who are continuing their education.

Who is eligible:

Member, spouse of a member, or person having a parent or legal guardian who is a member of CUPE Local 50.

What to include with your application:

• PROOF OF REGISTRATION & PROOF OF PAYMENT OF TUITION FEES for the 2024/2025 academic year into a post-secondary institution, including reference to applicant’s name*, post-secondary institution being attended, duration of study, and field of study.
  * If applicant’s surname is different from surname of CUPE Local 50 member, please provide supporting documentation (i.e., marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.) to confirm.
• Any additional documentation that will confirm applicant’s attendance at a post-secondary institution.

NOTE: Acceptance letters ARE NOT considered proof of registration.

Failure to provide supporting documentation as outlined above will result in your application being deemed incomplete and, therefore, not eligible for consideration.
